China WearHouse Pop
At the end of 2007 the international museum of modern arts, MUMOK Vienna, invited Pinie Wang to make a compilation of contemporary Chinese electronic music, which has been released online on www.mumok.at. Beijing Case
Beijing Case represents the result of a scholarship project initiated by the Kulturstiftung des Bundes in cooperation with the Goethe Institut Beijing which was carried out in Beijing, in the summer of 2005. Over a period lasting four months, twelve artists from Germany and China used the city as their laboratory for the artistic examination of the cultural dimensions of high-speed urbanisation in Beijing. The artists are: Heike Baranowsky & Waszem Khan, Thomas Bayrle, Caofei & Ou Ning, Christine de la Garenna & Via Lewandowsky, Echo Yinsin Ho, Mara Kurotschka, Ma Yingli, Ingo Niermann, Susanne Röckel and Xi Chuan.
